  The amazing team from Thistle in the Woods created a perfect long lunch for my birthday. It was rather last minute (COVID cancelled my plans for an offshore celebration), but Nick and Sam just couldn’t do enough to ensure the day was everything I hoped for, and more! The food was superb, the service was effortless, our many and varied dietary requirements were not an issue, and when they left you wouldn’t even know they had been - the kitchen was cleaner than when they arrived!!! Thank you Nick, Sam and the whole team for making my birthday truly special - I will definitely avail of your services again xx

  Thistle in the Woods provided the most incredible service at a special event we recently hosted at our home for 100 people. The time and effort Nick and Sam dedicated to planning our dream menu with us, was second to none. Thistle in the Woods’ catering staff attended the night and their service was of the highest standard. They greeted all our guests with warmth and cheer. The standard of the food they served was exceptional and all our guests commented on how delicious everything tasted. We highly recommend this family owned business for any function, because there is no doubt Nick and Sam will tailor it to your needs and exceed all your expectations.

The food was divine, fresh, in house made (no heating of mass produced frozen items) delicious and it kept coming all night.   I would 100% recommend Thistle in the woods for your catering needs! I recently hosted a hens weekend on the Sunshine Coast hinterland and was going to have to do all the cooking/ catering until I found them. They saved me so much time/effort and stress so I could actually enjoy the weekend as well. We had the most delicious canapés and sweets box for a picnic and then catered breakfast the next morning. Nick and Sam responded incredibly quickly and helped me with all my enquiries. They delivered on time, walked me through how to prepare everything and got the oven ready in the airbnb we had. They were also incredibly well priced for the food and service they provide!

  Sam and Nick catered our wedding. The food and cake was absolutely outstanding. They were so supportive through all the rescheduling and changes due to current events. Would highly recommend them for any event.
