The Thistle Experience!

We had Thistle in the Woods provide food for our Mum’s funeral today. The food was delicious, well presented, and a great variety. I want to thank you for the care you put into preparation, delivery, and presentation. It took a huge burden off us on the day we said our last farewell to Mum and the depth of our appreciation is immeasurable.

we use TITW for client gifts and also personal and corporate celebrations and events and they are absolutely incredible to deal with! nothing is ever too much to ask, they spoil us with extras and the food is next level amazing!! I wouldn't use any other catering service in our local Nambour area after working with Nick & Sam!

The amazing team from Thistle in the Woods created a perfect long lunch for my birthday. It was rather last minute (COVID cancelled my plans for an offshore celebration), but Nick and Sam just couldn’t do enough to ensure the day was everything I hoped for, and more! The food was superb, the service was effortless, our many and varied dietary requirements were not an issue, and when they left you wouldn’t even know they had been - the kitchen was cleaner than when they arrived!!! Thank you Nick, Sam and the whole team for making my birthday truly special - I will definitely avail of your services again xx

Thistle in the Woods provided the most incredible service at a special event we recently hosted at our home for 100 people. The time and effort Nick and Sam dedicated to planning our dream menu with us, was second to none. Thistle in the Woods’ catering staff attended the night and their service was of the highest standard. They greeted all our guests with warmth and cheer. I was very happy with the chocolate fudge cake I ordered for my son’s 21st. With caramel drip and the beautiful toppings including toffee and macarons - it looked and tasted amazing. I will definitely use Thistle in the Woods again for future cakes and catering.

Thistle in the Woods Family with Personality

How did Thistle in the Woods come about?

The Scotch Thistle, which adorns our inherited house name plate “Cadzow”, is our emblem, incidentally located in Palmwoods, Sunshine Coast, QLD (the “Woods”)

The concept for our business is born from two chefs who were ready to explore their own food styles, and inject their personalities into the business.

And being blessed with so many innovative small producers of exceptional products and services on the Sunshine Coast, showcasing these is one of our passions!
