We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary recently n had Nick n Sam cater on site for us. Nick was incredible on how he thought of everything n took care of everything so I didn’t have to do a thing. He organised chairs, tables etc as well as cooking the most delicious food. Their service is next to none and we recommend that everyone should use Thistle in the Woods for their next event. Thank you so much Nick n Sam you helped make our celebration perfect

The food was out of this world good - and the flexibility with dietary requirements was hugely appreciated. Thistle in the Woods, your team provided the most delicious grazing platter and mini burgers for my husband and I, while we spent a few nights away ( kid free ). I must thank you for going above and beyond to accommodate our needs, from the first email, through to delivery - straight into the fridge at our Airbnb cottage, the whole process was hassle free. These small touches allowed my husband and I to nibble our way through our stay, without having to think about preparing meals. Your passion for food really shows in the fresh ingredients you use, the creative combinations on the menu and the presentation of your dishes. Everything provided was of the highest quality possible. Tasting some of the local produce in our platters was the “ icing on the cake “ so to speak ! I can not recommend you guys highly enough !

How did Thistle in the Woods come about?

The Scotch Thistle, which adorns our inherited house name plate “Cadzow”, is our emblem, incidentally located in Palmwoods, Sunshine Coast, QLD (the “Woods”)

The concept for our business is born from two chefs who were ready to explore their own food styles, and inject their personalities into the business.

And being blessed with so many innovative small producers of exceptional products and services on the Sunshine Coast, showcasing these is one of our passions!
