  Thistle in the Woods provided the most incredible service at a special event we recently hosted at our home for 100 people. The time and effort Nick and Sam dedicated to planning our dream menu with us, was second to none. Thistle in the Woods’ catering staff attended the night and their service was of the highest standard. They greeted all our guests with warmth and cheer. The standard of the food they served was exceptional and all our guests commented on how delicious everything tasted. We highly recommend this family owned business for any function, because there is no doubt Nick and Sam will tailor it to your needs and exceed all your expectations.

  We couldn’t be happier with the experience we had with Thistle in the Woods for our private wedding reception at our home in August 2024! Sam and Nick were absolutely amazing—so genuine and lovely to work with. They went above and beyond to make our day perfect, from being excellent communicators throughout the planning process to tailoring our menu to suit dietary requirements. On the day, the entire team was incredibly friendly and professional. They left our property spotless, which we truly appreciated. We had so many compliments on the food—it was delicious, beautifully presented, and suited every guest’s needs perfectly.   Wow!!!! Today I had a gathering for 20 and Nick came and catered for us - we are all wedding suppliers. We were all salivating and so full be the time Nick departed. The food was sensational!!! They met the budget, provided amazing menus to choose from, communication prior was on point and the food...... soooo good!! As a wedding planner I am often asked for recommendations for catering for their wedding. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Nick and Sam after dealing with them in the lead up and now having had an entire meal from them. I have also had the pleasure of working with Nick on site for a wedding photo shoot and again his communication was great and he met the brief for the shoot.   Thistle in the Woods recently catered for our 30th wedding anniversary in Brisbane. I can not recommend this business highly enough…Nick and Sam were always prompt in responding to any questions and provided reassuring guidance in planning how for the event. And then there was the food..it was magnificent in both quality and abundance! So much so, that I plan to have them cater for every event I have in the future. I’m still unsure as to how they can provide such extraordinary quality and range of food, beautifully presented and able to be heated and served as a gourmet restaurant meal from my humble kitchen. I am looking forward to my Christmas feast for the first time this year, safe in the knowledge that Nick and Sam are preparing it! Thank you again for such a brilliant meal!
