110/10!! Nick and Sam catered our combined 50th celebration and both the service and the food were outstanding. The food was out of this world good - and the flexibility with dietary requirements was hugely appreciated. Nick was so easy to work with when it came to organising it all and I would definitely recommend them for your function. We had a wonderful night and can’t wait to do it again. Very reasonably priced for such a great service also!! Thank you Nick and Sam for a memorable night x

We couldn’t be happier with the experience we had with Thistle in the Woods for our private wedding reception at our home in August 2024! Sam and Nick were absolutely amazing—so genuine and lovely to work with. They went above and beyond to make our day perfect, from being excellent communicators throughout the planning process to tailoring our menu to suit dietary requirements. On the day, the entire team was incredibly friendly and professional. They left our property spotless, which we truly appreciated. We had so many compliments on the food—it was delicious, beautifully presented, and suited every guest’s needs perfectly. I would 100% recommend Thistle in the woods for your catering needs! I recently hosted a hens weekend on the Sunshine Coast hinterland and was going to have to do all the cooking/ catering until I found them. They saved me so much time/effort and stress so I could actually enjoy the weekend as well. We had the most delicious canapés and sweets box for a picnic and then catered breakfast the next morning. Nick and Sam responded incredibly quickly and helped me with all my enquiries. They delivered on time, walked me through how to prepare everything and got the oven ready in the airbnb we had. They were also incredibly well priced for the food and service they provide!

The bestest cake ever Sam. It looked beautiful, the time and effort put in to the edible decorations too and it tasted devine. My daughter and her guests; didn’t only enjoy it they actually demolished it! 🎂😍 Great communication throughout. Great job!!!❤️

How did Thistle in the Woods come about?

The Scotch Thistle, which adorns our inherited house name plate “Cadzow”, is our emblem, incidentally located in Palmwoods, Sunshine Coast, QLD (the “Woods”)

The concept for our business is born from two chefs who were ready to explore their own food styles, and inject their personalities into the business.

And being blessed with so many innovative small producers of exceptional products and services on the Sunshine Coast, showcasing these is one of our passions!
