We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary recently n had Nick n Sam cater on site for us.
Nick was incredible on how he thought of everything n took care of everything so I didn’t have to do a thing. He organised chairs, tables etc as well as cooking the most delicious food.
Their service is next to none and we recommend that everyone should use Thistle in the Woods for their next event.

The amazing team from Thistle in the Woods created a perfect long lunch for my birthday.
It was rather last minute (COVID cancelled my plans for an offshore celebration), but Nick and Sam just couldn’t do enough to ensure the day was everything I hoped for, and more!
The food was superb, the service was effortless, our many and varied dietary requirements were not an issue, and when they left you wouldn’t even know they had been - the kitchen was cleaner than when they arrived!!!

Wow!!!! Today I had a gathering for 20 and Nick came and catered for us - we are all wedding suppliers. We were all salivating and so full be the time Nick departed. The food was sensational!!! They met the budget, provided amazing menus to choose from, communication prior was on point and the food...... soooo good!! As a wedding planner I am often asked for recommendations for catering for their wedding. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Nick and Sam after dealing with them in the lead up and now having had an entire meal from them. I have also had the pleasure of working with Nick on site for a wedding photo shoot and again his communication was great and he met the brief for the shoot. I was very happy with the chocolate fudge cake I ordered for my son’s 21st. With caramel drip and the beautiful toppings including toffee and macarons - it looked and tasted amazing. I will definitely use Thistle in the Woods again for future cakes and catering.
