Highly recommend this lovely family run business. Nothing was too much trouble. A Delicious treat box was delivered to my daughter living on the Sunny Coast. I’m in the UK so having a friendly reliable professional caterer that could deliver was very reassuring. Thank you. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thistle in the Woods was highly recommended to us so we didn’t hesitate to choose them for catering our stand up cocktail style wedding. We chose a rotating canapés service which there was plenty of. Each dish was amazing, our guests have been still complimenting the food weeks after the wedding. Nick was lovely from the very first meet and greet and ensured everything ran smoothly on the night, including looking after our cake and bringing it out for us when we were ready. I was so happy to have organised Thistle in the Woods to cater for my 50th birthday celebration. The whole process was so easy, from deciding on the menu through to the delivery. The presentation was fabulous, but also the food was just divine! Our guest were raving about the food all afternoon, from the grazing box right through to the sweets box.

Would highly recommend! The food ordered (from the entertainers packages) was to celebrate our small wedding with our guests. We were all amazed by presentation and how good the food tasted. Nick was great, when he dropped the food off he took the time to explain what each box of food was and what needed to be heated. We are glad we choose Thistle in the woods.

110/10!! Nick and Sam catered our combined 50th celebration and both the service and the food were outstanding. The food was out of this world good - and the flexibility with dietary requirements was hugely appreciated. Nick was so easy to work with when it came to organising it all and I would definitely recommend them for your function. We had a wonderful night and can’t wait to do it again. Very reasonably priced for such a great service also!! Thank you Nick and Sam for a memorable night x

we use TITW for client gifts and also personal and corporate celebrations and events and they are absolutely incredible to deal with! nothing is ever too much to ask, they spoil us with extras and the food is next level amazing!! I wouldn't use any other catering service in our local Nambour area after working with Nick & Sam!

Thistle in the Woods Family with Personality

How did Thistle in the Woods come about?

The Scotch Thistle, which adorns our inherited house name plate “Cadzow”, is our emblem, incidentally located in Palmwoods, Sunshine Coast, QLD (the “Woods”)

The concept for our business is born from two chefs who were ready to explore their own food styles, and inject their personalities into the business.

And being blessed with so many innovative small producers of exceptional products and services on the Sunshine Coast, showcasing these is one of our passions!
