We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary recently n had Nick n Sam cater on site for us. Nick was incredible on how he thought of everything n took care of everything so I didn’t have to do a thing. He organised chairs, tables etc as well as cooking the most delicious food. Their service is next to none and we recommend that everyone should use Thistle in the Woods for their next event. Thank you so much Nick n Sam you helped make our celebration perfect

110/10!! Nick and Sam catered our combined 50th celebration and both the service and the food were outstanding. The food was out of this world good - and the flexibility with dietary requirements was hugely appreciated. Nick was so easy to work with when it came to organising it all and I would definitely recommend them for your function. We had a wonderful night and can’t wait to do it again. Very reasonably priced for such a great service also!! Thank you Nick and Sam for a memorable night x

Thistle in the Woods recently catered for our 30th wedding anniversary in Brisbane. I can not recommend this business highly enough…Nick and Sam were always prompt in responding to any questions and provided reassuring guidance in planning how for the event. And then there was the food..it was magnificent in both quality and abundance! So much so, that I plan to have them cater for every event I have in the future. I’m still unsure as to how they can provide such extraordinary quality and range of food, beautifully presented and able to be heated and served as a gourmet restaurant meal from my humble kitchen. I am looking forward to my Christmas feast for the first time this year, safe in the knowledge that Nick and Sam are preparing it! Thank you again for such a brilliant meal!

Leaving a review on behalf of Donna & Family. Absolutely blown away by the quality, taste and uniqueness of the food we had delivered to our holiday home. It was absolutely perfect and made our stay so much easier. We ordered a grazing platter, mini burgers, sweets box & a full dinner as well as a birthday cake all were as good a quality as the next. How did Thistle in the Woods come about?

The Scotch Thistle, which adorns our inherited house name plate “Cadzow”, is our emblem, incidentally located in Palmwoods, Sunshine Coast, QLD (the “Woods”)

The concept for our business is born from two chefs who were ready to explore their own food styles, and inject their personalities into the business.

And being blessed with so many innovative small producers of exceptional products and services on the Sunshine Coast, showcasing these is one of our passions!
