  I highly recommend Thistle in the Woods! We hosted our daughters wedding and Thistle in the Woods catered superbly. The food was divine, fresh, in house made (no heating of mass produced frozen items) delicious and it kept coming all night.   Wow!!!! Today I had a gathering for 20 and Nick came and catered for us - we are all wedding suppliers. We were all salivating and so full be the time Nick departed. The food was sensational!!! They met the budget, provided amazing menus to choose from, communication prior was on point and the food...... soooo good!! As a wedding planner I am often asked for recommendations for catering for their wedding. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Nick and Sam after dealing with them in the lead up and now having had an entire meal from them. I have also had the pleasure of working with Nick on site for a wedding photo shoot and again his communication was great and he met the brief for the shoot.   The amazing team from Thistle in the Woods created a perfect long lunch for my birthday. It was rather last minute (COVID cancelled my plans for an offshore celebration), but Nick and Sam just couldn’t do enough to ensure the day was everything I hoped for, and more! The food was superb, the service was effortless, our many and varied dietary requirements were not an issue, and when they left you wouldn’t even know they had been - the kitchen was cleaner than when they arrived!!! Thank you Nick, Sam and the whole team for making my birthday truly special - I will definitely avail of your services again xx

  Highly recommend this lovely family run business. Nothing was too much trouble. A Delicious treat box was delivered to my daughter living on the Sunny Coast. I’m in the UK so having a friendly reliable professional caterer that could deliver was very reassuring. Thank you. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  Would highly recommend! The food ordered (from the entertainers packages) was to celebrate our small wedding with our guests. We were all amazed by presentation and how good the food tasted. Nick was great, when he dropped the food off he took the time to explain what each box of food was and what needed to be heated. We are glad we choose Thistle in the woods.

They went above and beyond to make our day perfect, from being excellent communicators throughout the planning process to tailoring our menu to suit dietary requirements. On the day, the entire team was incredibly friendly and professional. They left our property spotless, which we truly appreciated. We had so many compliments on the food—it was delicious, beautifully presented, and suited every guest’s needs perfectly.   Thistle in the Woods, your team provided the most delicious grazing platter and mini burgers for my husband and I, while we spent a few nights away ( kid free ). I must thank you for going above and beyond to accommodate our needs, from the first email, through to delivery - straight into the fridge at our Airbnb cottage, the whole process was hassle free. These small touches allowed my husband and I to nibble our way through our stay, without having to think about preparing meals. Your passion for food really shows in the fresh ingredients you use, the creative combinations on the menu and the presentation of your dishes. Everything provided was of the highest quality possible. Tasting some of the local produce in our platters was the “ icing on the cake “ so to speak ! I can not recommend you guys highly enough !
