The Thistle Experience!

Wow!!!! Today I had a gathering for 20 and Nick came and catered for us - we are all wedding suppliers. We were all salivating and so full be the time Nick departed. The food was sensational!!! They met the budget, provided amazing menus to choose from, communication prior was on point and the food...... soooo good!! As a wedding planner I am often asked for recommendations for catering for their wedding. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Nick and Sam after dealing with them in the lead up and now having had an entire meal from them. I have also had the pleasure of working with Nick on site for a wedding photo shoot and again his communication was great and he met the brief for the shoot. I had cupcakes delivered to a friend for her birthday. They arrived on time and in a lovely package with a card. They looked and tasted delicious 😋 Nick was super helpful and lovely to communicate with. Would recommend to anyone!! Thank you again 🙏🏻

I was so happy to have organised Thistle in the Woods to cater for my 50th birthday celebration. The whole process was so easy, from deciding on the menu through to the delivery. The presentation was fabulous, but also the food was just divine! Our guest were raving about the food all afternoon, from the grazing box right through to the sweets box.

How did Thistle in the Woods come about?

The Scotch Thistle, which adorns our inherited house name plate “Cadzow”, is our emblem, incidentally located in Palmwoods, Sunshine Coast, QLD (the “Woods”)

The concept for our business is born from two chefs who were ready to explore their own food styles, and inject their personalities into the business.

And being blessed with so many innovative small producers of exceptional products and services on the Sunshine Coast, showcasing these is one of our passions!
