The amazing team from Thistle in the Woods created a perfect long lunch for my birthday.
It was rather last minute (COVID cancelled my plans for an offshore celebration), but Nick and Sam just couldn’t do enough to ensure the day was everything I hoped for, and more!
The food was superb, the service was effortless, our many and varied dietary requirements were not an issue, and when they left you wouldn’t even know they had been - the kitchen was cleaner than when they arrived!!!

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary recently n had Nick n Sam cater on site for us.
Nick was incredible on how he thought of everything n took care of everything so I didn’t have to do a thing. He organised chairs, tables etc as well as cooking the most delicious food.

Thistle in the Woods was highly recommended to us so we didn’t hesitate to choose them for catering our stand up cocktail style wedding. We chose a rotating canapés service which there was plenty of. Each dish was amazing, our guests have been still complimenting the food weeks after the wedding. Nick was lovely from the very first meet and greet and ensured everything ran smoothly on the night, including looking after our cake and bringing it out for us when we were ready. Nick and Sam catered our combined 50th celebration and both the service and the food were outstanding. The food was out of this world good - and the flexibility with dietary requirements was hugely appreciated. Nick was so easy to work with when it came to organising it all and I would definitely recommend them for your function. We had a wonderful night and can’t wait to do it again.
