Thistle in the Woods provided the most incredible service at a special event we recently hosted at our home for 100 people. The time and effort Nick and Sam dedicated to planning our dream menu with us, was second to none. Thistle in the Woods’ catering staff attended the night and their service was of the highest standard. They greeted all our guests with warmth and cheer. The standard of the food they served was exceptional and all our guests commented on how delicious everything tasted. I highly recommend Thistle in the Woods! We hosted our daughters wedding and Thistle in the Woods catered superbly. The food was divine, fresh, in house made (no heating of mass produced frozen items) delicious and it kept coming all night. I was very happy with the chocolate fudge cake I ordered for my son’s 21st. With caramel drip and the beautiful toppings including toffee and macarons - it looked and tasted amazing. I will definitely use Thistle in the Woods again for future cakes and catering.

Fantastic food, great service and lovely people. We had a dinner party at home and the menu was amazing. went for a combo of duck rolls to start (OMG), beef and lamb mains, cheese platter and of course the boozy cupcakes. Nick delivered the food to our home, walked us through everything, even checking our oven temp. Thistle in the Woods really made our milestone celebration easy and amazing! Local business owners who care about local produce, fresh food and their customer service. Will definitely call on you again. Thanks

Thistle in the Woods Family with Personality

How did Thistle in the Woods come about?

The Scotch Thistle, which adorns our inherited house name plate “Cadzow”, is our emblem, incidentally located in Palmwoods, Sunshine Coast, QLD (the “Woods”)

The concept for our business is born from two chefs who were ready to explore their own food styles, and inject their personalities into the business.

And being blessed with so many innovative small producers of exceptional products and services on the Sunshine Coast, showcasing these is one of our passions!
