Thistle in the Woods recently catered for our 30th wedding anniversary in Brisbane.
I can not recommend this business highly enough…Nick and Sam were always prompt in responding to any questions and provided reassuring guidance in planning how for the event.
And then there was the food..it was magnificent in both quality and abundance! So much so, that I plan to have them cater for every event I have in the future.
I’m still unsure as to how they can provide such extraordinary quality and range of food, beautifully presented and able to be heated and served as a gourmet restaurant meal from my humble kitchen.
I am looking forward to my Christmas feast for the first time this year, safe in the knowledge that Nick and Sam are preparing it!

I was so happy to have organised Thistle in the Woods to cater for my 50th birthday celebration. The whole process was so easy, from deciding on the menu through to the delivery. The presentation was fabulous, but also the food was just divine!

The food was out of this world good - and the flexibility with dietary requirements was hugely appreciated. Nick was so easy to work with when it came to organising it all and I would definitely recommend them for your function. We had a wonderful night and can’t wait to do it again. Wow!!!! Today I had a gathering for 20 and Nick came and catered for us - we are all wedding suppliers. We were all salivating and so full be the time Nick departed. The food was sensational!!! They met the budget, provided amazing menus to choose from, communication prior was on point and the food...... soooo good!! As a wedding planner I am often asked for recommendations for catering for their wedding. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Nick and Sam after dealing with them in the lead up and now having had an entire meal from them. I have also had the pleasure of working with Nick on site for a wedding photo shoot and again his communication was great and he met the brief for the shoot. The amazing team from Thistle in the Woods created a perfect long lunch for my birthday.
It was rather last minute (COVID cancelled my plans for an offshore celebration), but Nick and Sam just couldn’t do enough to ensure the day was everything I hoped for, and more!
The food was superb, the service was effortless, our many and varied dietary requirements were not an issue, and when they left you wouldn’t even know they had been - the kitchen was cleaner than when they arrived!!!

The time and effort Nick and Sam dedicated to planning our dream menu with us, was second to none.
