The Thistle Experience!

We used Thistle in the Woods over the weekend for the entertainment package (self catering). They were so easy to deal with from ordering to drop off of food. The food was presented beautifully and any heating required was so easy, it didn't take us away from our party. So many comments on the tasty food...you could tell it was high quality. I can’t recommend Nick from Thistle in the Woods highly enough. They served absolutely sensational food (the guests were raving about it) and took all the hassle out of me hosting my husband’s 40th.

The amazing team from Thistle in the Woods created a perfect long lunch for my birthday. It was rather last minute (COVID cancelled my plans for an offshore celebration), but Nick and Sam just couldn’t do enough to ensure the day was everything I hoped for, and more! The food was superb, the service was effortless, our many and varied dietary requirements were not an issue, and when they left you wouldn’t even know they had been - the kitchen was cleaner than when they arrived!!! Thank you Nick, Sam and the whole team for making my birthday truly special - I will definitely avail of your services again xx

How did Thistle in the Woods come about?

The Scotch Thistle, which adorns our inherited house name plate “Cadzow”, is our emblem, incidentally located in Palmwoods, Sunshine Coast, QLD (the “Woods”)

The concept for our business is born from two chefs who were ready to explore their own food styles, and inject their personalities into the business.

And being blessed with so many innovative small producers of exceptional products and services on the Sunshine Coast, showcasing these is one of our passions!
