We had Thistle in the Woods provide food for our Mum’s funeral today. The food was delicious, well presented, and a great variety. I want to thank you for the care you put into preparation, delivery, and presentation. It took a huge burden off us on the day we said our last farewell to Mum and the depth of our appreciation is immeasurable.

I ordered two Easter boxes as gifts and they were so well received. Delivery was on time, gluten free was no problem and the recipients keep telling me how good they are! Thank you for making me look good. :)

Thistle in the Woods was highly recommended to us so we didn’t hesitate to choose them for catering our stand up cocktail style wedding. We chose a rotating canapés service which there was plenty of. Each dish was amazing, our guests have been still complimenting the food weeks after the wedding. Nick was lovely from the very first meet and greet and ensured everything ran smoothly on the night, including looking after our cake and bringing it out for us when we were ready. Fantastic food, great service and lovely people. We had a dinner party at home and the menu was amazing. went for a combo of duck rolls to start (OMG), beef and lamb mains, cheese platter and of course the boozy cupcakes. Nick delivered the food to our home, walked us through everything, even checking our oven temp. Thistle in the Woods really made our milestone celebration easy and amazing! Local business owners who care about local produce, fresh food and their customer service. Will definitely call on you again. Thanks

I was so happy to have organised Thistle in the Woods to cater for my 50th birthday celebration. The whole process was so easy, from deciding on the menu through to the delivery. The presentation was fabulous, but also the food was just divine! Our guest were raving about the food all afternoon, from the grazing box right through to the sweets box.

Thistle in the Woods Family with Personality

How did Thistle in the Woods come about?

The Scotch Thistle, which adorns our inherited house name plate “Cadzow”, is our emblem, incidentally located in Palmwoods, Sunshine Coast, QLD (the “Woods”)

The concept for our business is born from two chefs who were ready to explore their own food styles, and inject their personalities into the business.

And being blessed with so many innovative small producers of exceptional products and services on the Sunshine Coast, showcasing these is one of our passions!
